Biography
Arthur graduated with an MSc in Strategic Studies from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2020).
After finishing his BA in History and Theatre/Drama Studies in the Universiti Brunei Darusslam (2017), he worked at the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies with a focus on Civil-Military Relations in Myanmar and its geopolitical position in the region attending conferences in Taiwan and China as well as studying into Hybrid Warfare. This continued into his Master's in Strategic Studies in Singapore where he studied on Strategic Thought, Intelligence during Peace and War, Special Operations and Civil-Military Relations which became his Master’s Dissertation focusing on it in Myanmar.
In order to answer the questions he countered during that time, he has moved his PhD Research on the First Anglo-Burmese War 1824-1826 where he seeks to use his familiarity with both British and Burmese military histories to answer some of the strategic and underlying social issues in modern Myanmar.
