Biography

Tamar joined the department of European and International Studies in 2018, after an initial period at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her research sets to inquire processes of value within the UK higher education sector as a response to the tuition fee increase. She is interested in exploring the political meaning of rising student debt and its effects on the value of the higher education sector.

Tamar holds an MSc in Contemporary Social Thought (Sociology) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Tel Aviv University. Prior to starting her studies she was working for the private sector as a data scientist.
