
Biography
Dr Tammy Hedderly is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist working at both ELCH and KCH.
She specialises in Childhood onset movement disorders, she developed and leads a multidisciplinary service called TANDeM. The service provides tertiary input for a range if movement disorders, providing assessment and management. The team provided neurology/neuropsychiatry/psychology and nurse liaison support for movements linked to neurodevelopment disorders/ intense imagery/ paroxysmal dyskinesias/Autism and Tourette syndrome. TH also provides neurology support for the Wilsons Disease joint Neuro/hepatology MDT service at Kings. TH has a keen interest in Acute Neurology, Brain tumours and Acquired brain injuries. She has published more than 100 peer reviewed papers and written several book chapters.
She has a Hon reader position at King's College London and has been an active member of the medical school staff for more than 20 years, being personal tutor and educational supervisor and hosts regular SSM's/MRCPCH/Med school teaching.
