
Biography
Tanroop Sandhu is a Postdoctoral Research Associate, studying Indian political thought as part of the ECR-funded POPGOV project. In particular, he is studying radical visions of postcolonial constitution making and statehood in the late-colonial period.
He researches global history, anti-colonialism and interwar intellectual history. His PhD, completed at Queen Mary, University of London in 2025, focused on the political thought of British and Indian communists and the worldmaking ambitions of interwar Marxism.
