Tedi completed his medical degree at Hacettepe University. He then undertook his clinical training in psychiatry at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust before attaining membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2026.

He currently works as an Clinical Research Doctor for the Psychoactive Trials Group at King's College London.
