Biography
Theodora Skeadas is a public policy strategist and thought leader at the forefront of technology ethics, platform governance, and responsible AI.
She currently works as Community Policy Manager at DoorDash, where she develops and implements trust and safety policies to protect users at scale. In addition, Theodora is Head of Red Teaming at Humane Intelligence, a nonprofit committed to collaborative red teaming and improving the safety of generative AI systems. She is also a Strategic Advisor for Technology Policy at All Tech Is Human, where she helps shape cross-sector solutions for more ethical and inclusive tech development, and a member of the Board of Directors at Integrity Institute.
Previously, Theodora worked on Twitter’s global Public Policy team, focusing on human rights, disinformation, content moderation, child exploitation, and managing the company’s Trust and Safety Council. She has also consulted with organizations including National Democratic Institute, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Committee to Protect Journalists, Partnership on AI, Duco, the W7, and the U.K. Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Philosophy at King’s College London, exploring ethical responses to online harms and the governance of emerging technologies. She has an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA from Harvard College.
