Biography
Tianyi Liu is a Research Associate in Medical Statistics and Data Analysis in the Department of Population Health Sciences at King’s College London. He completed his PhD at King’s College London, where his research focused on the development and evaluation of machine learning (ML) methods for cardiovascular risk prediction using large-scale electronic health records (EHR) in primary prevention.
In his current role, he supports a range of clinical and population health research projects through statistical analysis and methodological input. His work includes collaboration on study design, analysis planning, and the interpretation of complex health data.
His research interests include artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare, real-world data (RWD), including UK primary care EHR, risk prediction, cardiovascular epidemiology, clinical trials, and target trial emulation.
