Biography
The Revd Tim Ditchfield FKC, is an Anglican priest, the College Chaplain, and Chaplain to the Strand campus.
As College Chaplain, Tim oversees the work of the Chaplaincy Team as a whole across the different campuses.
Tim was born in Preston, Lancashire, and studied Archaeology and Anthropology at Cambridge before studying Theology in Durham and being ordained.
He worked as a priest in Lancashire until he came down to King's in 1995. He and his wife, Jane, live locally in Westminster with Bella the cat. They have two adult daughters, Sian and Rachel who live in South London.
Tim is an enthusiastic cricket fan supporting Lancashire and England.
He listens to most styles of music and is currently enjoying Public Service Broadcasting and The Decemberists and is also a big film buff and would probably say The Big Lebowski is his favourite film.
Tim is committed to ensuring that the Chaplaincy is a fully inclusive resource and is a Stonewall trained Workplace Trans Ally.
