Biography
I intially completed my BSc in biomedical science and MSc in tissue engineering at Cardiff University completing complimentary disserations in the Biomechanics and Bioengineering Research Centre Versus Arthritis. I completed my PhD at the University of Leeds working on immune cell interations after tissue damage with a novel population of mesenchymal stem cells I characterised at the human spinal enthesis. I currently use my experience in tissue remodelling and repair to investigate airway smooth muscle changes in asthma as a postdoc in Jody Rosenblatt's lab.
