Biography

Dr Pillinger has worked at King's College London since 2015. He is a member of both the Royal Colleges of Physicians and Psychiatrists and his predominant research interest is in the cross-over between physical and mental health. He is lead editor of the book 'The Maudsley Practice Guidelines for Physical Health Conditions in Psychiatry'.

Research Interests:

  • Cardiometabolic health of people with serious mental illness
  • Physical side-effects of psychiatric medications
  • Novel treatment strategies to improve the metabolic health of people with psychosis
