Biography

Tong Zhu is currently a PhD under the supervision of Professor Sergi Garcia-Manyes and Professor Catherine Shanahan within the King's-China Scholarship Council programme.

She obtained her bachelor's degree in Biotechnology in 2017 from the national life science and technology talent training base at Shandong University. After graduating, she completed her MRes in Molecular and Cellular Biosciences at Imperial College London, where she worked on engineering Turing Patterns in a bacterial chassis with a bottom-up synthetic biology approach.
