Biography
Vanessa joined the Department of Political Economy in October 2019.
Her doctoral research focuses on understanding and influencing identity and social mobility in the context of bursary provision in Higher Education, using behavioral science methods. Vanessa holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Social Research Methods from the University of Surrey.
She has previously worked as a social researcher, with particular experience feeding the views and behaviors of vulnerable consumers into policy and regulation.
