Biography
Vasiliki Theodorou is a Teaching Fellow in Physiotherapy Education at King’s College London with over 15 years of clinical and academic experience. Her background spans specialist roles in neurological rehabilitation across NHS and private sectors, with expertise in stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, and spinal cord injury. She holds an MSc in Cognitive Rehabilitation from the University of Westminster, where her research focused on sensory reweighting and postural control. Vasiliki is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, reflecting her commitment to contemporary pedagogy and inclusive, student-centered learning.
In her academic role, she integrates clinical insight with evidence-based teaching to support physiotherapy students in developing critical thinking and professional identity. As a Practice Education Tutor, she leads on enhancing placement quality and capacity, developing innovative models aligned with the four pillars of practice, and supporting students with modern learning tools.
