Biography
Victoria lectures in Adult Nursing at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care. Her research and teaching interests are in wound care, nutrition, clinical decision making and simulated learning.
Victoria trained as an Adult Registered Nurse at the University of Birmingham after working as a healthcare assistant during her A-Levels and started her nursing career at the University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust where she specialised in Burns and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. Here she developed her interest in Wound Care and Nutrition. She then moved to Berkshire and worked as a Research Nurse at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust where she completed her PhD with the University of Reading before moving into lecturing. She is an NMC Registered Teacher and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
