Biography

Victoria Gibson is a Radiopharmacy Consultant and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London and the University of Sussex. Victoria graduated from the University of Glasgow with a degree in Chemistry before getting her MSc in Radiopharmaceutics and PET Radiochemistry from King’s College London. In her early career she worked in Medical Physics before moving on to working in Radiopharmacy, firstly at BartsHealth as a QA Manager then as Head of Radiopharmacy at Guy's Hospital.

Victoria has more than 20 years' experience working in Radiopharmacy and was part of the UK Radiopharmacy Group committee. As a practicing Radiopharmaceutical Scientist she has witnessed the changes in Radiopharmacy over recent years with increased interest in therapeutics and novel tracers including ATIMPS and the introduction of PET manufacturing into traditional Radiopharmacies.
