
Biography
Current specialist anticoagulation pharmacist at King’s College Hospital, London (2014 to present).
January 2022 - Successfully defended PhD on the use of rivaroxaban for the treatment of venous thromboembolism under the supervision of Professor Roopen Arya and Dr. Jignesh Patel.
During the PhD there were two main research themes:
- The FIRST Registry, a UK wide, multicentre, investigator led, prospective registry that investigated the long-term complications of rivaroxaban for the treatment of VTE.
- Population pharmacokinetic modelling of rivaroxaban with a special interest in extremes of bodyweight. Current role is split with role as a clinical informatician at the Bennett Institute for Applied Data Science at Oxford University.
