Wilailak is a registered nurse and lecturer in the Department of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at the Princess Agrarajakumari College of Nursing, part of the Chulabhorn Royal Academy in Thailand. She holds an MSc in Advanced Leadership for Professional Practice (Nursing) from the University of Manchester, awarded in 2020.

Wilailak is currently pursuing her MPhil/PhD at the Cicely Saunders Institute of Palliative Care and Rehabilitation at King’s College London, a leading center in palliative care research. Beginning her doctoral studies in February 2021, her research focuses on implementing palliative care outcome measures for individuals living with dementia in Thailand.

Her broader research interests encompass palliative and end-of-life care for people with dementia, outcome measurement, implementation science, and complex interventions.
