Yangyang Dong, a Ph.D. student and proud recipient of the King's China Scholarship Programme, joined the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care in 2023.

Her academic journey began with the successful completion of a BSc degree in Nursing at Zhengzhou College in 2018. This was followed by three years of experience in emergency nursing. Subsequently, she attained an MSc degree in Nursing from the University of Nottingham in 2022.

She focuses on utilizing social media platforms to foster the professional development of registered nurses. Her research interests include nursing education, new technology applications and nurse professional development.
