Biography

Yoshimi Berrecloth graduated from Teikyo University with a BA in International Studies in 1996. Yoshimi completed a Teacher Training course at SOAS, University of London in 2010. Then, she went on to study for a PGCE at the University of Hertfordshire in 2016, followed by an MA in Education at the University of Hertfordshire in 2018. Yoshimi started teaching Japanese in 2010 in secondary schools with the Japan Foundation as well as evening courses with the Japan Society. She joined King’s College London in 2019. Her research interests include student engagement in language learning through repetitive tasks such as vocabulary and grammar with or without the use of technology.
