Biography
I’m a dedicated researcher specializing in liver tissue engineering, biomaterials, and disease modelling. With a strong focus on metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), explores innovative approaches to in vitro liver disease modelling. My research involves the development of biomaterial-based scaffolds for liver tissue engineering, leveraging decellularization techniques to create functional extracellular matrices that support cellular growth and differentiation. By integrating material characterization and advanced cell scaffolding methods, such as electrospinning and 3D printing, I aim to establish physiologically relevant models for studying liver diseases and potential regenerative therapies. I’m always open to new collaborations and speak at public events. If you have any enquiries, please email me.
