
Biography
Zahra is a Visiting Lecturer in Contract Law at King’s College London, returning after previously teaching on the module between 2021 and 2023. She is a qualified barrister, called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple in 2022. Zahra currently practises at the London Borough of Camden, advising on a range of public and commercial law matters, particularly in the context of local government.
Zahra studied Law with International Legal Studies at the University of Southampton, graduating in 2020. As part of her undergraduate degree she spent a year abroad at the University of Ottawa. She went on to complete the BCL at Hertford College, Oxford, focusing on contract law. Zahra is a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.
Bringing both academic and practical experience to the classroom, Zahra enjoys helping students see how contract law works in real-world settings. Her teaching style is interactive, clear, and grounded in both theory and practice.
