Zena Willsmore undertook her medical training and BSc at Imperial College London. She is completing her specialist training in Dermatology at St John's Institute of Dermatology. She was awarded funding to undertake a PhD by Cancer Research UK as part of Professor Karagiannis' lab group. Her research interests are in the immunology of melanoma and checkpoint inhibitor therapy.
