
Biography
Zimeng Song is a PhD student with a background in architecture and urban planning, and prior experience in municipal housing and planning departments in a major city.
Zimeng holds two master’s degrees in urban analytics, from the University of Sheffield and UCL, focusing on quantitative, computational and also qualitative approaches to urban studies.
Zimeng's current interests include urban big-data modeling, machine learning and GeoAI. His research area covers urban heat risk, urban heat island, urban spatial structure, 15-minute city, urban inequality, and related urban socioeconomic issues.
