The effectiveness and efficiency of how care processes are organised and managed is an increasingly important agenda globally. This module focuses on understanding the principles of good governance, policy development and standard setting to ensure effective risk management and the monitoring of quality, care and conduct of clinical practice and services.

- Provide a critical analysis of the 4 main global health systems: National Health Insurance, Bismark Model, Private Health Insurance, Out-of-pocket.
- Critically evaluate the role government plays in managing a health system.
- Present an in-depth analysis of the scope and effectiveness of global strategies that influence global health systems.
