Course features
You’ll explore contemporary perspectives, with a particular focus on your own leadership approach, team dynamics, interpersonal influence, organisational systems and the realities of leading in today’s complex workplaces.
Learning is anchored in two core pillars: theory and evidence, and real-world experience. Alongside interactive classroom sessions, you’ll engage in an immersive organisational simulation, hear from leaders across sectors and apply insights through an individual project. The programme culminates in a Capstone Day, where you’ll come together with your cohort to share insights and reflect on your leadership development journey.

Understanding effective people management and leadership |
Starting with the human dynamics of organisational life, this module explores how to navigate workplace politics and develop practical strategies for managing individuals and teams. Through a focus on the emotional and relational dimensions of leadership, you’ll learn how to build influence by enhancing your self-awareness and understanding of others. Throughout, you’ll hear first-hand accounts from established leaders who share experiences of their own complex leadership journeys. |

Simulation exercise |

You’ll dive into experiential learning, exploring boundaries and roles with the opportunity to reflect upon the impact of your leadership on others. |
|
Delivering results |
Sessions dedicated to building and sustaining a committed, high-performing team of individuals through effective leadership. You’ll look at how to lead change in complex and uncertain environments, make confident, effective decisions under pressure and influence professionals and individuals with strong identities. |
|
Reflective practice |
During this module, you’ll learn the toolkit for a reflective leader. There will also be group coaching and an individual project workshop where you can focus on your own leadership style and how this translates to your team. |
|
Capstone day |
A final day to present your individual case study, wrap up learning and share feedback. In some circumstances, this day may be attended remotely for those with location or travel difficulties. |
