This programme translates lessons from the racetrack into practical, boardroom-ready strategies. Participants will return to work with sharper analytical skills, heightened decision-making under pressure, and a clearer understanding of how to lead teams through uncertainty and change.
Day 1: Strategic Agility and Leadership in High-Velocity Contexts | Based on cutting-edge research and real-life F1 examples, day one focuses on developing a deep understanding of how organisations can sustain performance in fast-paced, competitive environments. Participants will receive a workbook with frameworks, discussion prompts, and post-course tools for ongoing application. |
Day 2: Immersion into High-Performance Strategy and Coordination at Red Bull Racing Headquarters | Participants will gain exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Red Bull Racing’s facilities to observe how a top Formula 1 team operates in real time. This immersive day helps translate classroom theory into tangible leadership practices, fostering both strategic insight and team effectiveness. |
Our expertise
The programme will be led by Professor Paolo Aversa, an internationally recognised expert on strategy and innovation in high-velocity industries. Throughout the programme, Professor Aversa will be joined by guest speakers from Formula 1 and the wider motorsport industry (subject to confirmation). These may include senior executives, team strategists, and technical leaders, offering participants direct access to the lived experience and operational realities of high-performance organisations.

Entry requirements
This programme is designed for mid-to-senior level professionals who are responsible for leading teams, driving innovation, and making strategic decisions in fast-changing environments. It is also ideal for professionals who operate in turbulent, highly competitive, or innovation-intensive environments, or those undergoing major transformation (e.g. digitalisation, restructuring, market repositioning). This may include, but is not limited to, the roles of:
- Heads of Strategy, Innovation, or Transformation.
- General Managers and Business Unit Leaders.

We also recommend that participants of this course have 7+ years of managerial experience, and are either preparing for or already in senior leadership roles. Prior knowledge of Formula 1 is not required.
