The Team
The REN Committee runs and does the day-to-day work of the network. We are King's staff and PGR students who volunteer our own personal time to run REN. We are:
Liang, Saffy, Laura, Ebony, Fai, Jonathan, Mariam, Jalal and Jenny
REN Senior Supporters
REN is a King's College London community network. All community networks at King's have, what we call, 'senior supporters'. We call them that because they attend many important senior management meetings at King's and can represent us. We turn to them for mentorship advice and support from time to time. We are grateful to our King's Senior Supporters:
Forever REN
We are still in contact with many people who used to work at King's and were part of REN but have now left. These are people who have contributed greatly to REN. We maintain collaboration opportunities with many key people outside of King's:
- Whitney Robinson - former REN co-chair
- Rebecca Brown - former REN committee member
- V.J. Sidhu - former REN committee member
- Rajbir Hazelwood - former REN senior supporter
- Olivia T. - former REN committee member
Wider network
The REN wider network are King's College London staff and students (PGR) who are not involved in the day-to-day running of the network but may still want to support the network, keep informed of REN news, attend some of the events/meetings. Sometimes wider network members also want to take part in/work on/lead a REN project.
This is a very flexible way of being part of the network.
If you want to join the network, please email RaceEqualityNetwork@kcl.ac.uk
Collaborations
The network is a King's College London staff and PGR student network. However, we have worked with many UG and PGT students also on many different projects across the years. Our events are open to everyone at King's and we have also, for example, offered UG & PGT students the opportunity to chair many of our events with high profile speakers (BAFTA winners, authors, actors, directors etc).
