The research scope of the Algorithms and Data Analysis (ADA) group ranges from theoretical computational complexity and algorithm design for various models of computation (e.g., including distributed computing and models inspired by biological systems) to machine learning for computer vision, robotics, medical / healthcare applications, data-driven solutions for operational research, and digital privacy. Particular emphasis is placed on developing algorithms and data structures and on their theoretical and experimental evaluation.
