CBRNe & Cyber Health Security
In an era of increasingly complex and interconnected global threats, the convergence of CBRNe hazards, cyber risks and disinformation presents a challenge to health security. As both physical and digital infrastructures underpin critical health systems and produce novel risks, vulnerabilities at this interface can amplify the impact of deliberate attacks, accidents, or emerging biological threats. Our programmes operate at the nexus of CBRNe and cyber domains, recognising the need for integrated approaches to risk assessment, preparedness, and response. Our experts lead on programmes such as the Global Partnership Counter WMD Disinformation Initiative, which aim to safeguard health security, strengthen the resilience of health and governance systems, and inform national, regional international policies that reflect the hybrid nature of 21st-century threats.
