The King’s Research Portal showcases the breadth and diversity of King’s research, from researcher biographies and research group profiles to funding details and research outputs such as published books and peer-reviewed journal articles. The data for the Portal is drawn from Pure, our Research Information System. It offers:
- Research outputs and funding for individuals and research groups
- Profiles of individual researchers, including research students
- Connected results - access a co author’s profile directly from a researcher’s publication
- Research outputs can be viewed and exported in a range of citation styles and formats
- Links to online publications, including open access papers
- Graphs of relations providing dynamic representations of collaborations and linkages
It is also our Institutional Repository providing access to the full text of research publications and other outputs including, where possible, postgraduate research theses.
- Full text documents available in the King’s Research Portal are indicated with a paperclip icon
- Links to Open Access articles on publishers’ websites or in other repositories are also provided
- Not all records will have full text documents or links to free full text, but DOIs will be provided, where available, providing links to articles on publishers' web sites, which will be accessible if you or your institution has a subscription or if they are Open Access in the journal
King's Theses
- Digital versions of theses by King’s research students are added to the Portal as they are awarded, unless embargoed for one year or five
- Digitised copies of over 2,000 King’s theses from earlier years are also available
- You can search for theses from a section of the Research outputs pages
