The Operations & Strategic Planning team, led by Rob Patterson, works directly with Executive Director Dr Bryony Wakefield to shape the strategic and operational direction of all functions across the area, in close collaboration with Professor Sir Bashir M. Al Hashimi.

The Department includes the following functions: Service Improvement & Operations, Stakeholder Engagement, Health & Safety, Research Information Systems, and Research Initiatives.
