This Research Interest Group on Innovation for Safe and Sustainable Food, Nutrition and Health provides a unique opportunity for the King’s research community to address the challenges of sustainable food development. Bringing together collective expertise across Faculties of Life Sciences & Medicine; Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Sciences; and Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences, we have identified three key themes that encompasses the current work of members of this Research Interest Group: (i) Optimising the development of functional and sustainable foods; (ii) Precision nutrition for improved human health; (iii) Digital modelling of food safety and security.
