The Hypertension group strategy focuses on improving outcomes for women with hypertension in pregnancy through a translational approach encompassing basic science research through to clinical trials and implementation science projects. We have adopted a multi-stranded approach to the discovery and evaluation of predictive and preventative strategies for hypertension in pregnancy and its associated complications, working in the UK and in low and middle income countries to reduce adverse maternal and perinatal outcomes.
