- Dr Steven Klein received an ERC Starting Grant (£1 million) for his project 'Systemic Risk and the Transformation of Democracy'.
- Dr Humeira Iqtidar received the 2021 mid-career prize from the Britain and Ireland Association for Political Thought.
- Dr Paul Sagar received the early-career prize from the Britain and Ireland Association for Political Thought (APT), in recognition of his work promoting the discipline through teaching and research
- Adam Tebble, £10,000 from CSGS/John Templeton Foundation for 'More opens borders for those left behind' project
