Prescribing Antidepressants in Primary care: Ethnic inequalities in tReatment - The PAPER Study
This project aims to understand the treatment of depression in South Asian patients, with specific reference to factors affecting appropriate prescribing in this patient group.
The secondary aim is to understand the intersection between ethnicity, age and financial deprivation within this context.
This project is led by Dr Lydia Poole at the University of Surrey. The work package involving the use of UK Biobank data is being undertaken at the Centre for Mental Health Policy and Evaluation.
