transCampus support for the Extended Medical Degree Programme (EMDP) at King‘s

• The transCampus is now actively involved in supporting underrepresented student populations in both encouraging the admission process to King’s College Medical School as well as navigating through the first 2 years of the studies by providing financial support, mentoring and guidance
• Creating pathways for student inclusion and interaction with various opportunities of the School of Medicine at TUD and the University Hospital Dresden

The course offers a more graduated introduction to medical study than the standard degree providing greater academic and pastoral support. Students benefit from clinical placements at district general hospitals and over 350 general practices located across the southeast of England. The programme is twinned with leading medical schools around the world, providing opportunities for clinical exchanges during the elective module.
