Public Health and Multimorbidity - NIHR ARC South London

Building on our smoking related research as part of CLAHRC South London, we are conducting several projects as part of the Public Health and Multimorbidity Theme  of the new ARC South London .

These include:

  1. An evaluation of the tobacco dependence treatment pathway in King’s College Hospital (KCH) and  Guy’s and St Thomas’s (GSTT) NHS Foundation Trusts
  2. A qualitative study of patients’ experience of tobacco dependence treatment in SLaM, KCH and GSTT;
  3. qualitative study of barriers and facilitators for providing tobacco dependence support from the perspective of staff in SLaM, KCH and GSTT;
  4. association of smoking status and SARS-COV-2 infection among mental health patients.
