The impact of providing additional financial assistance for people with experience of homelessness

The EDIT team are currently conducting an impact evaluation of an intervention which provides unconditional cash transfers to people with experiences of homelessness. This is the UK’s first programme of unconditional cash transfers to relieve homelessness. The evaluation is a two-armed randomised controlled trial (RCT) to assess the impact of the cash transfer on housing security, financial stability, social connectedness wellbeing and contact with public services. The evaluation is funded by the Centre for Homelessness Impact.
