Visa guidance at King's

We offer visa advice and guidance to students who are thinking of coming to King’s, those who already have an offer to study with us and current King's students. Our team help you navigate the UK visa landscape by providing advice on getting a student visa, changing a visa and managing other personal circumstances that may impact your visa status. We also offer advice about visa options after you have completed your studies.

If you prefer to speak to us over the phone, please call us on the number below. Please ensure you have your Student ID ready, as your adviser will ask for this at the start of the call. Please note these calls are usually for a maximum of 15 minutes. Our number is (+44) (0)20 7848 7001. Our phone service is available at the following times when King's is open (UK time): Tuesday 13:00 -15:00 Fridays, 09.00–11.00

Drop-in sessions

Enrolled students can come to a campus drop-ins. Please bear in mind that these are quick sessions that might need further follow-up. Mondays 13.00–15.00 Wednesdays 13.00–15.00 Thursday 13.00–15.00 Drop-in sessions take place in the Strand Student Centre on Floor 4, Bush House North West. Please note their will be no Drop-in session on Monday Monday May 25 due to the Bank Holiday

Workshops and Q&A sessions

We run multiple online workshops for offer holders who are due to join King’s.

Applying for a Student visa:

  • If you hold an offer for a main degree programme and are due to join King’s in September 2026 – the next workshop is on May 6. See our Undergraduate or Postgraduate Offer Holder Hubs
  • If you hold an offer for the International Foundation Programme and are due to join King’s in September 2026, we are running workshops on  June 3,  July 1 and August 6. For more information see King's International Foundation Offer Holder Hub
