ESSEC Africa carries the values of the know-how of ESSEC Business School, a prestigious school of excellence that has been characterised by its pioneering spirit since 1907. Who can apply?
The ESSEC Business School Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Africa Programme is open to undergraduate students only. Postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students are excluded from this offer.
Courses offered
The ESSEC Business School, Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Africa 3-week intensive program is designed for undergraduate students interested in African cultures and African business perspectives. The main objective of this immersive program is to give participants key skills to understand the main challenges and specifics of doing business in/with Africa. Students will meet and interact with local experts and professionals who will help them understand the diversity of African business and entrepreneurial practices. They will also visit local companies and associations. Programme dates
The ESSEC Business School, Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Africa Programme will run from: Monday 30th June 2025 - Friday 18th July 2025.
Application deadlines
If you wish to apply for a place on ESSEC's Innovation and Entrepreneurship summer program, you will need to submit your Global Summer Exchange Application by: Sunday 23rd February 2025, and before 11:59pm. If your application is successful, you will be required to apply directly to ESSEC Business School by the following date: Saturday 31st May 2025.
What are the costs?
The costs associated with the ESSEC Business School, Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Africa Programme are: Registration and administrative fee which covers class materials, activities and visits: 300 EUR On-campus housing in single room: 350 EUR or Double room: 175 EUR Students who are successful in their application will receive a tuition fee waiver, but will be responsible for all other costs, including, flights, accommodation, visas, health/medical insurance (if compulsory), living expenses and those listed above.
Accommodation
On-campus accommodation is offered and students will be responsible for the fees. Accommodation consists of two residential buildings located on campus: 30 double rooms and 20 single rooms, Common kitchens and a free laundromat. More information will be provided by ESSEC Business School, once applications have been processed.
Estimated living costs
Actual expenses may vary depending on student lifestyle. The cost of travel to and from the country is not included in these estimates.
