About the Institution

Universidad de Valparaíso, founded in 1981, is one of the largest university campuses in the 5th region of Chile. The institution develops teaching, research and outreach activities through its 10 Faculties, 41 undergraduate programs, 38 graduate programmes, 37 health and dentistry specializations, and 19 research centres. With a total enrolment of 17,000 students, Universidad de Valparaíso develops its academic mission at the highest level of excellence, in order to meet the interests and needs of Chile and the Valparaíso Region.
