About the Institution
The University of Michigan (known as U of M) is located at the heart of Ann Arbor, a medium sized city 45 minutes from Detroit in the Mid-West of the USA. U of M's campus boasts incredible facilities including the biggest stadium in the whole of the USA (home to the Wolverines football team), The Arthur Miller Theatre (named after the famous U of M alumnus), a host of museums covering art, archaeology and natural history and state of the art sports facilities for students - including a golf course! With close to 50,000 students and more than 584 campus buildings, there will always be someone new to meet and somewhere new to go. There are almost 1400 student run organisations to get you fully involved in campus life and 18 on campus residences to choose from.
