There are two entry points for the eight full-time courses:

  • September (King's International Foundation) - for students who are ready to start their chosen subject-specific Foundation course. Applications are now open with a priority deadline of 31 March 2020.

The eight full-time courses offered aim to develop essential knowledge in your chosen subject area, introducing you to the UK education system and improving your academic English so that you’re fully prepared for your degree.

This course is ideal if you have excellent high school grades and you:

- Need an extra year of study to apply to a King’s undergraduate degree, or other UK universities.

Extended King’s International Foundation

We recognise that sometimes the best and brightest international students need additional preparation with their academic English before beginning their studies. The Extended King’s International Foundation first ran in 2019 to further support international students reach their academic English capabilities.

The course starts in August 2020 with intensive academic English preparation for the first few weeks. Students will then integrate with the rest of the King’s International Foundation student cohort starting in September. The intensive preparation will focus on:

  • improving reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
  • building confidence so that students are ready to tackle subject-specific content

Students will also receive additional academic English support throughout their International Foundation year at King’s.

See the Entry requirements page for the entry requirements for Extended King’s International Foundation.
