Assessment and Coursework

Assessment Feedback

Please note that the following section refers to King's Foundations' year-long programmes. Students studying on a Pre-sessional course should refer to relevant sections of the Pre-sessional programme specific information.

1. Essays & Presentations

All students will receive written feedback on all submitted assignments and presentations within a maximum of four weeks. This feedback is designed to help students recognise things that are good in their work as well as areas for improvement. Students will be asked to meet with your personal tutor to discuss the feedback they receive to ensure that they understand how to make the most out of the received comments.

2. Examinations

All students will also receive feedback on their exams. In order to do this, you will need to email the Professional Services Team via Kings-foundations@kcl.ac.uk. The Professional Services Team will then arrange an appointment for you to view your examination script under supervised conditions.

More information about the examination feedback process can be found under the Examination Feedback Policy information.

3. Progress Reports

This report is not a formal assessment, but an opportunity for tutors to communicate how they think students are progressing in their studies. The report allows students to learn what subjects might need more work and which skill areas require improvements.
