Where can a degree in finance take you

In finance team, I am responsible for processing invoices and payments, completing account reconciliations, and supporting payroll activities. My day-to-day work involves checking financial information, resolving payment or invoice queries, and ensuring transactions are processed correctly across the different entities within the company.

I manage the lifecycle of more than 100 FX Options and NDF trades each day, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory deadlines. I resolve trade discrepancies using SWIFT protocols to reduce operational and settlement risk, and I improve internal processes by streamlining workflows, strengthening controls, and supporting team development.

I work as a market-maker for a Swiss-based trading firm. In my day-to-day work, I manage risk and operate trading algorithms and conduct research and analysis on the markets and generate alpha signals.

I work in growth and late-stage investing, focusing on Series A, Series B+ and Pre-IPO businesses. My role involves meeting founders, analysing financials and growth metrics, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies, track performance and assess strategic opportunities to figuring out what makes a business tick.
