Advancing in Cardiovascular Science: Programme Insights and Career Pathways
Professor James Clark, Cardiovascular Sciences MSc Programme Director, outlines his journey into Cardiovascular Sciences, the career pathways it supports, and the qualities he looks for in prospective students.
Strong Clinical and Translational Focus
The programme bridges bench-to-bedside research, with many staff actively involved in clinical practice and translational studies — including trials in diabetic kidney disease and post-COVID fibrosis therapies.
The programme includes a 6-month full-time research project. Most masters programme of this type will last only 2 or 3 months.
