This course gives you in-depth knowledge to progress your nursing career and improve your leadership abilities. Due to the rigorous nature of the programme, you could have a competitive edge when applying for jobs. The practical approach means you can apply your expertise immediately to your work setting.
Most of our graduates go on to work in specialised roles in clinical practice and research, including clinical care settings in hospitals and the community. The course equips you for advanced clinical leadership so, for example, you might become a unit manager in areas such as intensive care, endoscopy or diabetes.
You might decide to take up an educational role in a clinical or university setting, or maybe apply your skills in a governmental department, developing policy and legislation.
Some graduates choose to go on to MPhil/PhD programmes.
