Completing a degree in Computational Finance opens the door to a wide range of job opportunities including in banking, fintech, consultancy, major software houses, and in tech, with many of our students founding their own start-ups.
Our graduates regularly pursue roles as engineering analysts, quantitative developers, data scientists and portfolio managers, for companies including JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Jeffries and Eastmoney.
The Careers Service and the Department of Informatics run a careers programme for Informatics students, which includes resources such as a skills framework, and tailored panel events with alumni and employers, alongside the extensive central careers provision.
