Overview
The Master of Digital Health (MDH) is a pioneering interdisciplinary programme and the first award of its kind in the UK. It is designed to prepare the next generation of digital health leaders. Integrating expertise from healthcare, technology, data science, artificial intelligence (AI), informatics, behavioural science, ethics and leadership, the programme will equip you with the skills to design, implement and evaluate digital health solutions responsibly in real-world health systems.
You will explore how technologies such as AI, electronic health records, wearable devices, remote monitoring and digital therapeutics are transforming healthcare delivery and improving patient outcomes. Through academic study and applied learning, you will develop skills in health data analysis, digital health innovation, intervention design and evaluation, ethics, regulation and governance.
Whether you come from a background in health, life or social sciences, computer science, engineering, data science, policy or a related discipline, the programme will prepare you to contribute to responsible digital transformation and address complex healthcare challenges in the UK and internationally.
The programme draws on King’s extensive partnerships with the NHS, King’s Health Partners and industry collaborators.

The programme explores how digital technologies, data, AI and systems thinking can be applied to improve health outcomes, enhance patient care, reduce inequalities and strengthen health systems across diverse global settings.
You will learn how digital health solutions are designed, implemented, evaluated and governed in real-world settings.
