The MA Education Futures and Technology is a pioneering, future focused programme exploring how education and technology shape contemporary and future societies. Rooted in interdisciplinary study, it brings together creative, analytic and technical learning to help students engage with the complex challenges facing education today.
The programme examines the social, economic, political and ethical dimensions of technological change — including questions of equity, sustainability and social justice — and supports students to develop the deep, holistic understanding needed to make sense of education systems in a rapidly transforming world. Through this lens, students gain the tools to navigate, critique and help shape the educational futures that lie ahead.
Once or twice in your career, you get the chance to design the degree you wish you could’ve studied yourself. This is that degree—a unique blend of critical social sciences and technology skills spanning a rich, diverse set of disciplines and perspectives.
